Cavannorthsideunited’s Blog

This is a special service for anyone who enjoys music, clapping, drama, singing and sharing with other like minded people. It is aimed for the youth but really some of us adults enjoy it just as much. This is an event put on by a group of volunteers from London Conference including Rev.s Pat and Brad Morrison from Grace United in Sarnia.

The service is on Tues. Dec 21st at Wesley Knox United in London. Those interested in attending should contact the Denham family for directions and arrange car pooling.

December 12  – The Sunday School children are presenting during the service, be sure to come see their smiling faces sharing the Christmas story.

December 19 — Cavan and Northside are joining together for a special service at 10:00 a.m. at Northside. A worship service that is meant to be shared with all. Special musicians and dancers bring the season to life.

December 24 — Christmas Eve service at Cavan in Winthrop at 7:00 p.m. Should you need a ride call the church office. 527.1449

December  25th — CHRISTMAS DINNER

Don’t be alone – join us at 12:00 Noon December 25^th at Northside Unite Church. Singles, couples and families from Seaforth & area welcome!

Call Grace Campbell (519.527.1775) to reserve your spot/or if you need a ride contact Grace by December 18^th. Traditional food, fellowship and fun!

Budget meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 8th at 7pm at the church.  Please ensure if you are on a committee that there is a rep from your committee attending with your committee’s proposed budget for 2011.

Concert coming to Northside on November 20th, at 7:00 p.m.
Satinques are a group of 4, singing music from the 50′s and 60′s.

We welcome Doug Wright to our service at 11:00 a.m. Doug is the president of London Conference. Lunch will be provided after the service.

Sunday October 3rd

Meet at Cavan by 12:30. Trailer will take your bike to the starting point and pick you up at the end of the trail. There will be drivers along the way if you tire sooner. Light lunch will be served at Cavan following the bike ride

Cavan Session will meet at 7:00 p.m. just before the Official Board meet.

Sunday will be communion at both Cavan and Northside. We welcome you to join us for the Lord’s Supper.

On Wed. September 29th we are having a beef supper with all the trimmings.

We have been collecting pop cans for a fund raising idea and this weekend we plan to make the trip to the depot with the many bags. If you still have some to donate bring them around or if you need a pick up call us. (527.2001 and leave a message if no one is home)

Good news! we made $90.00 on the pop cans, keep saving.
